PDM 8 Specifications

OVERVIEW

In the past users would have to install fuse and relay boxes. This leads to many disadvantages such as complicated and messy wiring looms, difficult and slow installation process as well as it being susceptible to vibration and temperature variation. These installations can be difficult to diagnose.

Sustech’s Range of Power Distribution Modules solves all these problems. These PDMs have been designed to improve your wiring installation process and driving experience. It has advanced features to allow the user to fault find efficiently as well as protect your vehicle.

Our Laptop software provides feedback on each circuit, showing the current amperage draw and if the output is experiencing or has experienced any failures at any time. The user can set up each output to allow the maximum allowable current through it, allow the output to shut down any outputs that may have a shorted wire on it, and allow the PDM to retry the outputs to test weather the output experienced a temporary fault.

SUSTECH has designed this PDM for the safety of their customers while improving their driving experience, weather it be at the track or in your garage at home.

HIGHLIGHTS AND FEATURES

  • Real-time Monitoring of Output Current and Voltage
  • Easy to use user interface that shows all relevant real-time information in an intuitive manner
  • Outputs can be named in Laptop Software
  • Outputs can be used as PWM Output (for things such as variable speed Radiator Fans)
  • The comprehensive LED array can let you know at a glance if your vehicle is in perfect order
  • Connects with a standard comms cable to the SUSTECH ECU or a RS232 to USB Converter cable to a laptop
  • No More replacing fuses if the blow. Just find the offending component or wire, fix it and reset the PDM to continue
  • Outputs can accommodate higher amperage during a user settable start-up period, then falls back down the steady state conditions and monitoring
